Coventry Public Schools is seeking a .5 Library/Media Specialist. 3 days one week & 2 days 2nd week with credit recovery classes The Classroom Teacher creates a positive learning environment to facilitate the personal, social and intellectual development of students. In order to respond to the individual needs and abilities of students, the Classroom Teacher works closely with other staff and District administration.
- Facilitate the personal, social and intellectual development of students.
- Establish a positive learning environment and respond to the individual needs of students.
- Implement required assessment measures.
- Use high quality instructional methods and learning materials
- Create a positive and nurturing learning environment
- Maintain open lines of communication with parents/guardians.
- Engage in professional growth activities through an ongoing program of job-related knowledge and skill development.
- Work collaboratively to achieve the overall philosophy and mission of the District.
- Adhere to a strict policy of complete confidentiality for all student information You must be Lib/Media Certified with RI Dept.
