Job Description
Part-Time After-School Teacher Sacred Heart Early Childhood Center 251 Bishops Highway, Kingston, MA 02364 Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and passionate Teachers and Assistants to join our After School Program at our Early Learning Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and growth. This role requires a deep understanding of childhood development and effective classroom management skills. The children we care for are ages 2 through age 5. The hours are 2:30-6:00 and we are looking for individuals who have experience working with toddlers and preschool age students. EEC certification is required to be a lead teacher. The schedule is flexible.
Duties :
Work with other teachers to create a nurturing and safe space for children to play. Plan different age appropriate activities for the children. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain discipline. Supervise children both indoors and outdoors on the playground.
