Job Description

STEM Teacher (Anticipated) – Middle School 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 93 Chandler St, Duxbury, MA 02332 Duxbury Middle School is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of STEM Teacher (Anticipated) for the 2025-2026 school year.

Position Requirements:

Current certification from Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education with SEI Endorsement – Technology/Engineering, Science or Computer Science Bachelor’s Degree or higher from accredited college or university Demonstrate the ability to model, deliver, and craft rich student-centered learning experiences around Computer Science, Coding and Robotics Work in partnership with teachers and staff, modeling consistent effective teaching with technology, engagement, lesson plan design, use of technology, STEAM, and online tools. Understand and be able to design, develop, assess, and manage STEAM learning experiences. Classroom management skills that support students’ social-emotional learning Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks Citizenship, residency or work visa required Please refer to the Duxbury Public Schools – Unit A Contract for additional information.
