Vocal Music Teacher Monmouth Music Academy 49 County Road 520, Englishtown, NJ 07726 Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Vocal Music Teacher to join our educational team at Monmouth Music Academy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching children and adults. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, fostering a love for music, and contributing to their overall development. The Music Teacher will work with students of various ages, including preschoolers and those with special education needs. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to the varying skill levels of students. Teach music theory, vocal techniques, and instrumental skills in an engaging manner. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression through music. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their growth. Organize performances and events that showcase student talent and promote community involvement. Maintain classroom organization and manage resources effectively. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or a related field preferred. Experience working with children, particularly in preschool or early childhood education settings. Knowledge of special education practices is a plus. Proficiency in at least two musical instruments or vocal performance. Those teaching instruments must be proficient in both guitar and piano minimally. Strong lesson planning skills with the ability to adapt lessons for diverse learning needs. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
