Job Description
A vacancy exists for the 2025-2026 school year for a Physical Education Teacher within the Norristown Area School District at Norristown Area High School.

• Sign On Bonus
• one time (In addition to Salary): $3,000

Requirements:

PA Teaching Certification

• Health & PE Excellent communication skills
  Ability to work with community members, student-athletes, and coaches
  Able to work in collaboration with the Athletic Director and other Athletic Department staff
  FBI, Criminal Background, and Child Abuse clearances
  Bilingual in Spanish Preferred

Responsibilities:

Continually build and expand on a solid pedagogical knowledge of the needs and development of physical education.
Help maintain student records in regards to eligibility, awards, and physical information.
Aid in maintaining/creating team schedules as needed

Schedule:

Monday

• Friday 7.

5 hours/ day
2025-2026

Salary Schedule:

experience calculated per contract agreement not to exceed step 10
