Two Year Old Teacher 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Jacksonville, FL 32257 Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. This role involves working with young children in a private school setting, focusing on their academic, social, and emotional development. The Teacher will implement engaging lesson plans and utilize various teaching methodologies, including Montessori principles, to support each child’s unique learning journey. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards. Utilize early intervention strategies to support children with diverse learning needs. Create a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and critical thinking. Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student development and address any concerns. Foster a love for learning through engaging activities in subjects such as Math, literacy, and the arts. Maintain a safe and organized classroom that promotes respect and inclusivity among students. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills. Skills Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including early intervention techniques. Experience in curriculum development tailored for preschool or private school settings. Familiarity with Montessori teaching methods is preferred but not required. Excellent lesson planning skills that cater to various learning styles and abilities. Ability to educate and engage young children effectively while fostering their curiosity. Previous experience working with children in childcare or educational environments is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents, colleagues, and students.
