This position reports daily (Mon-Fri) 7:10am- 4:15pm. No weekends required. Pay is $14 per hour. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young children. This position involves implementing engaging lesson plans, promoting child welfare, and supporting the developmental needs of each child in our care. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Educate children on fundamental concepts such as math, language, and social skills. Monitor and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed. Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment that encourages children’s growth and development. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and improve educational practices. Engage with parents regarding their child’s welfare, addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Maintain accurate records of children’s activities, development milestones, and any incidents that occur during the day. Requirements Experience working with students in a daycare or educational setting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices. Knowledge of early intervention strategies to support children with diverse needs. Ability to plan lessons effectively while incorporating various teaching methods.
