Description:
The Preschool Teacher works in a team approach, sharing in responsibility for managing and implementing classroom routines and activities. All employees are required to uphold and personify our core values of being amazing, being curious, to keep reaching, and to be and have character.
Qualifications:
The Preschool Teacher must meet all EEC Minimum Hiring Requirements, Preschool Teacher qualifications or Teacher certification preferred.
Responsibilities:
Provide for children’s basic needs Establish and maintain positive relationships among coworkers, families, and children Be able to actively participate in activities with children Scaffold learning experiences to enhance each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development Have developmentally appropriate expectations of children, and ability to respectfully communicate Help to create meaningful curriculum, maintain daily written communication with families (through childcare app), and documentation to support children’s learning Help maintain a clean and organized classroom, and share in housekeeping responsibilities
