Qualified Preschool Teacher great beginnings school 28 Water Street, Danvers, MA 01923 Overview We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching preschoolers, have a creative, fun flair for planning fun lessons, work well with others, is friendly, caring, positive and is able to multi task. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans that align with educational standards. Foster a clean, safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing positive reinforcement strategies to promote good conduct. Follow all policies and regulations Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children’s learning and development at home. Provide individualized support for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention services. Teach physical education activities that promote motor skills development and physical fitness. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and any incidents or concerns. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Experience in teaching at preschools or day cares. Strong understanding of child welfare principles and practices. Proven skills in classroom management and curriculum development. Knowledge of early intervention strategies for children with special needs is a plus. Ability to create an engaging learning environment that fosters curiosity and creativity among preschoolers. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. A commitment to continuous professional growth through training in teaching methodologies.
