Early Childhood Teacher Kinder Garden Childcare LLC 621 Maine Avenue, Farmingdale, ME 04344 Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting, and will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of each child. This role requires a strong commitment to educating young learners through engaging lesson and activities tailored to their developmental needs. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson that foster learning and development in areas such as literacy, numeracy, and physical education. Provide high-quality toddler care in a safe and supportive environment. Engage children in interactive activities that promote curiosity and exploration. Monitor and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as necessary. Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages cooperation, respect, and enthusiasm for learning. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for children. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Qualifications Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred. Strong knowledge of child development principles and practices. Ability to create engaging lesson that cater to diverse learning styles. Experience conducting outdoor activities is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children are essential traits for this role. Certification in First Aid/CPR. Must be able to pass a background check.
