Infant Teacher The Midwest Playhouse, LLC Wentzville, MO 63385 Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our faith based team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and experience working with preschool-aged children. This role involves creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young learners. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Educate students through play-based learning, hands-on activities, and structured lessons. Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive learning atmosphere. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and developmental milestones. Provide support for children with special needs or developmental challenges as necessary. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols. Qualifications Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational or daycare setting. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices. Knowledge of special education strategies is a plus. Familiarity with classroom management techniques to create an effective learning environment. Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff. A nurturing personality with a passion for teaching young children is essential.
