We are seeking an individual to join our team as a teacher in the three-year-old department. This individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for children, teach them about Jesus, work with parents to achieve success, and encourage growth in all areas of development. They will teach and supervise children while also motivating them to use their mental capacities and exercise their imaginations.

Responsibilities:

Instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth Create a fun and safe learning environment Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents Communicate with parents on students’ growth and progress Maintain the health and safety of all students Teach and follow through with Bible lessons

Qualifications:

Must be 18 or older Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields is preferred Passionate about working with children Ability to build rapport with children, parents, and co-workers Child CPR a plus Positive and patient demeanor Excellent written and verbal communication skills Promise Land Preschool is a ministry of Canaan Baptist Church.
