Preschool Teacher Xaviers Early Learning Center Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early learning experiences of our students, guiding them through foundational literacy and math skills while promoting positive behavior management and child welfare. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students. Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages respect, inclusion, creativity, and exploration. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions among students. Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress in literacy, math, and other developmental areas. Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns regarding child welfare. Incorporate developmentally appropriate daily activities to enhance independent learning. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space conducive to learning. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Qualifications Some education in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Experience working with preschool-aged children in daycare or educational settings. Strong understanding of literacy education, math concepts, and curriculum development for young learners. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures for early childhood education is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to create inclusive lesson plans that accommodate various learning styles and abilities. Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that prioritizes child welfare. Certification in First Aid/CPR is desirable.
