JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At LAC Preschool, our goals are to provide a safe, warm early childhood program, and to foster a love for learning. We strive to meet the individual needs of our children and help them to reach their full potential through active learning experiences, social interactions, and connections with our families. Lead Teachers at LAC Preschool are responsible for: Planning and executing of a developmentally appropriate program for pre-school children, documentation of learning experiences, assessment of children. Meeting the needs of the group as well as those of the individual child. Observing, identifying and responding to the needs of the children. Helping each child develop a positive-self-image. Communicating appropriately with children, using intentional language. Communicating with parents/families and creating positive relationships. Using a positive approach to behavior guidance
