Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree with 18 semester hours in English. A master’s degree and/or graduate hours in teaching or education does not meet SACSCOC accreditation requirements.
Strong communication skills and work ethic.
Willingness to teach at all Athens Technical College locations.
Willingness to teach Athens Technical College courses on area high school and career academy campuses.
Willingness to teach using all college approved methods (Ex. face-to-face, online, audio/video, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
