Job Description
High School Chemistry/Engineering Teacher
Reports To Danvers High School Principal
Responsibilities:
Teach courses in Physics and Project Lead the Way Engineering (Project Lead the Way experience preferred, but not required).
Guide hands-on engineering projects that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and encourage student-led inquiry.
Assess student understanding through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback.
Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and grades.
Supervise laboratory activities safely and effectively.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum, instruction, and overall student learning experience.
Build positive relationships with students, parents, and the school community.
Stay current with advancements in physics, engineering, and educational methodologies through professional development.
Contribute to the school culture and promote a positive and supportive learning environment.
