The golf course starter will provide the utmost hospitable service to members and their guests and create raving fans by managing tee times, providing excellent customer service, enforcing course rules, and any other responsibility within the detailed department and company standards.

Essential Functions:

Greets golfers warmly and provides information about course policies, conditions, and pace of play expectations. Manages the first tee, coordinates tee times, and ensures groups start on schedule. Maintains a consistent pace of play by monitoring groups and provides gentle reminders if necessary. Communicates with the Pro Shop regarding any delays, special circumstances, or player concerns. Ensures golfers have the appropriate equipment, attire, and carts as needed. Assists in keeping the starting area neat, organized, and ready for golfers. Enforces club rules and etiquette in a professional and courteous manner. Provides basic information about the course layout, hazards, and facilities. Assists with tournaments and special events as required. About Greystone Golf and Country Club Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Greystone Golf & Country Club (GGCC) is a private, members-only club located within the Greystone Community in Hoover, Alabama.
