District Level Resource Teacher, Parentally Placed Private School Students- Title I Duval County Public Schools $48700-0 United States, Florida, Jacksonville 1701 Prudential Drive (Show on map) Jun 11, 2025 Job Summary Provides instructional support to students who are parentally placed in not-for-profit private school as required by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) for equitable services to eligible students. Serves as the educational liaison between the district and private schools. Essential Functions 1. Provides direct instruction in reading and/or math to students who are parentally placed in not-for-profit private schools and eligible to receive Title I, Part A services. 2. Develops and implements services in alignment to the Title I Service Delivery Plan for eligible students, teachers, and parents. 3. Administers pre and post academic assessments. 4. Reports student progress educational goals monthly. 5. Participates in professional development to develop content knowledge and improve instructional practices. 6. Maintains daily student attendance as documentation of services 7. Creates lesson plans in accordance with curriculum guidelines and the Title I Service Delivery Plan for the school 8. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience:
Five (5) years teaching experience (recommend 3 years in Duval County Public Schools) with background in curriculum planning, articulation, instruction, model lessons, training, feedback, follow-up, and coaching. Experience working with new teachers.
Certifications & Licenses:
