Description :

Campus needs a special education teacher to participate in their ‘ RISE’ classroom. The RISE classroom is basically an access point classroom. The students typically have autism or sensory issues. Behavioral issues are not common in this classroom. The children are grades 6-9 but the caseload is only 6.

37.5/ week

Requirements:

• FLDOE ESE

  cert or SOE

• 2 years experience
• Bachelors The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of theSpecial Education Program Administrator provides quality services to specialeducation students, kindergarten through grade 12.

The Special Education Teacher has a commitmentto team participation in planning and implementation of student programsincluding special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultation withgeneral education staff.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited universitypreferred
Valid state teaching certificate as required by state,contract/district regulations
Minimum of one year experience in teaching environmentpreferred
State Teacher Certification;
