Job Description
Bresnahan Elementary School is a Pre K-3 school. We are looking for a dynamic, positive person who enjoys working with elementary school students, who is comfortable in a fast-paced school environment, and who is interested in collaborating with a team of teachers.
The Special Education teacher will provide instruction to k-3 students. Candidates must be comfortable differentiating and modifying curriculum, and providing programs and discrete trials for students with varying profiles. In addition, the teacher will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary teaching team to support students.
We are looking for an energetic and flexible educator who is interested in contributing to our school culture through activities outside the classroom (clubs, professional programs, and extracurricular activities) and working by the Clipper Values (respect, kindness, innovation, perseverance, responsibility, reflection).
Salary:
As indicated by the CBA between the Newburyport School Committee and the Newburyport Teachers Association.
