As an Afternoon Teacher you will spend your time interacting with children ages 6 weeks up to 7 yrs old. Each age group has an array of activities the teachers choose from to focus on each day. Topics teachers choose from are science, math, language, sensory, art, music, outside time and yoga! Your job duties will be to assist the classroom teachers in finishing out the day and closing down the classrooms. The ideal candidate will be patient, kind, artistic, works well with others and has a passion for helping children grow emotionally, socially and academically. Good communication skills and team work are a must as well! Education and previous experience are wonderful but not required.
