Full Job Description Job Description:

Must be a faculty member possessing a valid NJ Teacher Certification Effectively communicates with staff members, parents, and students Serve as a contact person when the principal is unavailable Assist with discipline when principal is unavailable Must be able to handle emergencies and stay calm in a crisis Demonstrates sound judgement Assist with arrival and dismissal of students Contact parents, when needed Maintain communication with parents, staff members, and the principal for issues handled in the absence of the principal until the matter or issue is resolved Handle emergencies, parent complaints, and all other time-sensitive issues Establish point of contact responsibility for decision making/coordination Contact SAC/ABS to begin a HIB investigation if warranted Supervisor Certificate Accepts responsibility Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
