Educational Diagnostician in Elizabeth, NJ Position Available In Union, New Jersey

Category Schools – Educational Diagnostician Job Type Contract This position is for a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) supporting high school students in a contract role for the upcoming school year. The opportunity is based in New Jersey, with available roles in both Elizabeth and Somerville.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students with learning disabilities and develop appropriate educational plans. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to implement effective instructional strategies. Provide consultation and support to educators on best practices for students with learning disabilities. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to advocate for student needs. Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.

Qualifications:

Valid certification as a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC). Experience working with high school students diagnosed with learning disabilities. Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations. Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and educational teams. Skilled in administering and interpreting learning assessments.

Location:

Positions available in Elizabeth, NJ and Somerville, NJ.
