The ideal candidate will support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for students, particularly in a preschool or early childhood education setting. This role is essential in fostering children’s growth and development through hands-on activities and individualized attention. Duties Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities that promote childhood development. Support students with their daily tasks, ensuring they understand instructions and feel comfortable in the classroom setting. Facilitate small group activities, focusing on subjects such as math and literacy to enhance learning outcomes. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment conducive to learning. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster a positive educational experience. Observe and document student progress, providing feedback to the lead teacher regarding individual needs. Assist with toddler care as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the school day. Requirements Experience working with students in a classroom or preschool setting is preferred. Knowledge of Montessori methods or early childhood education principles is a plus. Strong understanding of childhood development stages and appropriate teaching strategies. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment. Previous experience in private schools or familiarity with toddler care is advantageous.
