SALARY RANGE
$27,294•$45,014
Ad Valorem•2.40 parish property (ad valorem) tax mills are dedicated to employee salaries. The annual receipts from this tax are distributed to employees twice a year, one-half in January and one-half in June. The amount of each employee’s supplement is the employee’s salary multiplied by the annual percentage (computed each year based on actual tax revenues).
Belle Chasse Primary School is looking for caring and hard working para professionals who will assist students to do their very best in various placements throughout he school.
1. Working with Elementary Students•Regular Education, Special Education or Physical Education 2. All core subject areas
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Associates Degree or 48 College Hours or Passing Score on the ParaPro PRAXIS Test
2. Must be willing to work with staff, students, and parents
3. Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, lift children and/or crouch
4. Ability to perform other duties as assigned as part of the job assignment and job requirements
5. Willing to receive and implement additional training as needed
