Full-Time | 2025-2026 School Year We are seeking a compassionate and patient 1:1 Paraprofessional to join our supportive educational team in New Orleans, LA for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year . This position offers a unique opportunity to make a daily impact by providing individualized support to a student with special needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct, 1:1 academic, behavioral, and social support to an assigned student Assist with classroom activities, transitions, and behavior management strategies Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to ensure student success Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment Support the students participation in both academic and non-academic activities
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (required) Previous experience working with children or students with disabilities preferred Ability to provide patience, empathy, and consistency Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
