July 7th End date: August 7th (Possible extension) Total hours: 15 – 25 Hours Duties Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and instructional activities tailored to meet the needs of students with IEPs. Support students in their daily classroom activities, providing guidance in literacy education and classroom management. Help manage student behavior by employing effective behavior management techniques and strategies. Collaborate with teachers to develop and adapt lesson plans that accommodate various learning styles, including those of students on the autism spectrum. Requirements Experience working with students in a special education setting is preferred. Knowledge of IEP development and implementation is essential. Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment. Familiarity with literacy education techniques and strategies for diverse learners.
