Kindergarten Assistant Teacher SAU #15 11 Eaton Hill Road, Auburn, NH 03032 Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Assistant to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and experience working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters learning and growth for all students, including those with diverse needs. The Kindergarten Assistant will be responsible for managing classroom behavior, and ensuring that each child receives the support they need to thrive. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to the diverse learning styles of students. Educate children in various subjects, including literacy, numeracy, social skills, and emotional development. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment for all students, including those with disabilities. Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed. Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive learning experience across different subjects and activities. Organize activities that promote physical, social, and emotional development through play-based learning. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise. Requirements Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education. Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting a positive learning environment. Experience working with students who have disabilities or special needs is beneficial.
