Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Work as a member of the team to provide quality services to preschool aged children and their families enrolled in the program by promoting the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of the children and encouraging parent involvement. Work under the direction of the Teacher and/or Assistant Teacher to provide a successful, safe, and supervised educational setting for children while they are in the Head Start environment (classroom, outdoor play area, and field trips.) Assist with the development of individual and group goals as needed. Assist with all transition activities. Pick up and deliver meals as deemed necessary in the assigned center. Assist and participate with mealtime, family style in accordance with Head Start Nutrition Policy.
QUALIFICATIONS
Canton PM (1): Person must have a minimum of a CDA (Child Development Accreditation), or a written plan of study. Early childhood experience preferred. The salary range is $16.76-17.69 per hour depending on the degree.
