Assistant Group Supervisor Elbow Lane School 828 Elbow Lane, Warrington, PA 18976 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of young children. This position involves collaborating with teachers and administrators to create a nurturing and effective learning environment. Responsibilities Assist in the implementation of engaging lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of students. Support classroom management by promoting positive behavior and addressing any behavioral challenges effectively. Collaborate with teachers in curriculum development to ensure alignment with educational standards and best practices. Provide individualized support to students to enhance their learning experience. Foster a safe and inclusive environment that encourages participation from all students. Monitor student progress and assist in assessing their educational needs. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student development and progress. Qualifications include one of the following: A high school diploma or a general educational development certificate and 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field. A high school diploma or a general educational development certificate, including 600 or more hours of secondary training described in § 3270.31(c) (relating to age and training). A high school diploma or a general educational development certificate, 15 credit hours from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children. A high school diploma or a general education development certificate and completion of a post-secondary training curriculum described in § 3270.31(c). A high school diploma or a general educational development certificate and 2 years experience with children Ability to pass all required background checks and complete required certifications a must.
