Team:
Proven experience 2+ years preferred) as a CAD Drafter, ideally within the naval, marine, or related industry.
Expertise in SolidWorks (specify version if necessary), including part modeling, assembly creation, and drawing generation.
A solid understanding of drafting principles, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and industry standards.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
The ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a hands-on approach.
Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) systems is a plus.
Familiarity with marine materials and manufacturing processes is a plus.

work hours: 7 AM – 3:30 PM
education: High School Responsibilities Creating detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models of marine parts, assemblies, and systems based on engineering specifications, sketches, and verbal instructions.
Utilizing CSAD and SolidWorks software extensively to produce accurate and manufacturable designs.
Ensuring all drawings adhere to company standards, industry regulations, and project requirements.
Collaborating closely with engineers, designers, and manufacturing teams to resolve design issues and optimize for functionality and manufacturability.
Maintaining and organizing CAD files and documentation.
Participating in design reviews and providing valuable input.
Potentially assisting with the creation of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and other related documentation.
Being a hands-on contributor, potentially assisting with prototyping or shop floor support as needed. Skills
