Packaging Supervisor Responsibilities Managing shifts andcontrols activities in the absence of the Packaging Manager.

Supervising activities and work performed on the floor. SupportingLine Leaders and other employees when necessary. Maintaining propercGMP practices across all work areas. Responsible for working inall areas such as Pre-check and office duties. Responsible forworking with Systech serialization system and SAP. Reducing timespent preparing lines for the next products. Training and educatingemployees when necessary. Recording In-process entries intorespective documents. Checking the Cleanliness of machines prior toor after use. Performing daily routine checkups and ensuring safetymeasures are in place. Reducing time spent during changeovers.

Enforcing cGMP. Maintaining full knowledge and a strongunderstanding of all SOPs and proper use of equipment. Be a pointof contact for questions regarding procedures and expectations foremployees. Serve as a leader and coach. Contribute to StandardOperating Procedure (SOP) writing in the technical area. Understandand operates all necessary equipment and instrumentation to performactivities. Maintains documentation in accordance with internalprocedures and regulatory requirements (i.e., GMP, SOPs etc.).Follow strict internal protocols and Standard Operating Procedures(SOPs) as well as follow current Good Manufacturing Practices(cGMP), comply with legal regulations, monitoring the environment.

Requirements 2 years of direct work experience in pharmaceuticalpackaging. Preference will be given to candidates with experiencein generic pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging. High SchoolDiploma or GED is required. Bachelor’s degree in PharmaceuticalSciences or related field of study from an accreditedcollege/university preferred. Must have 2 years cGMP workexperience. Strong understanding of pharmaceutical packagingmachines. Capable of conducting trouble-shootings. Capable ofhandling and participating in compliance and regulatory audits atthe local and federal levels. Experience using SAP business systemsand application is a plus Must be proficient in computer skills andsoftware applications such as Microsoft Office tools. Bilingual inSpanish is preferred. Ability to understand and analyze complexdata sets. Knowledge of statistical packages is a plus.
