Forensic Engineer – Building Envelopes Penn Technical Staffing Doylestown, PA 18902 An engineering company located in Doylestown, PA is seeking a Forensic Engineer to join their team. They are a growing engineering firm with a reach in Bucks, Montgomery, Berks, Northampton, Lehigh, Philadelphia and surrounding counties. They specialize in community association work as well as residential and commercial projects services for architects, contractors, property managers, building owners, etc. They are looking for an experienced licensed forensic engineer that can manage all aspects of projects from proposals, to field inspections, design of repairs, and construction oversight. Experience in investigation, evaluation, and rehabilitation of: masonry facades, roofing, siding, building envelope, waterproofing, foundations, structural deficiencies, flooding, fire/water/wind damage, etc.

Job duties:

Oversee a wide variety of forensic engineering projects. Including writing proposals, obtaining new work, and managing current clients; Preform field inspection and develop technical reports for building issues including structural deficiencies, leaks, deferred maintenance, unsafe conditions, etc.; Prepare engineering plans, details, specifications, bid documents and cost estimates for repair projects; Preform construction management and field inspections for ongoing projects.

Job requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, or architectural engineering required; P.E. required (must me licensed in PA and/or NJ); Minimum 10+ years experience in civil, structural, or architectural engineering; Minimum 5+ years in forensics and building evaluation and investigations; Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, etc. #IND
