At Clearwave Fiber , we’re expanding fast—and looking for a skilled Construction Maintenance Technician who’s ready to dig in (literally and figuratively). This isn’t your average 9-to-5. Our Techs are on the front lines of innovation, splicing, maintaining, and repairing the copper, coax, and fiber lines that keep families streaming, gamers gaming, and businesses booming.

What You’ll Do:

Splice, test, and repair underground cables —from the Central Office to the customer’s doorstep Troubleshoot outages, dig when needed, and use cutting-edge tools like OTDRs and power meters Collaborate with Engineering to tackle complex cutovers, outages, and upgrades Install demarcation devices, read schematics, and help make the invisible (data flow) visible Keep your work vehicle sharp, your gear ready, and your paperwork in check Train new teammates, work across departments, and support our “whatever it takes” mindset

What We’re Looking For:

Solid understanding of fiber optic tech High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license & safe driving record Strong communication and problem-solving skills Willingness to be on-call and jump into action when needed

Bonus Points For:

Understanding of AC/DC theory Ability to read construction drawings and cable schematics Knowledge of REA and service order processes
