Job Description
Marine Electronics Technician Bonita Boat Center 27760 South Tamiami Trail, Bonita Springs, FL 34134 BoatJunkie Sales and Service is looking to hire a reliable person to work as a Marine Electronics Technician. As a Marine Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems on marine vessels. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will utilize your core skills in mechanical knowledge, rigging, and vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal performance of marine electronics. Join our team and help us deliver exceptional service in the marine industry. Marine Electronics Technician must be open to work Monday – Friday 8am-6pm (1hour lunch), Saturdays as needed. Must have their own transportation and valid driver license. Candidate is a subject to drug screening and background check.
Requirements:
2 years of experience in marine electrical and electronics repair Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Willingness to learn and grow through training and certifications Marine Electronics Technician responsibilities : Installation of various marine electronic equipment (such as VHF, radio systems, entertainment systems, navigational systems etc.) Maintenance of various marine electronic equipment Troubleshooting and repair of electronics and boat electrical systems Customizing of boat equipment and electronics Perform mechanical installations (such as power poles, trolling motors, batteries etc.) If you are Dependable, Honest and Dedicated and are looking for a chance to grow and expand with the company, do not miss this opportunity to apply for this position.
