DESCRIPTION
This is a skilled position involving the repair and preventative maintenance of mechanical systems at wastewater facilities with a fo
- cus on the maintenance of multiple hearth sewage sludge incinerators. Duties involve responsibility for independently performing a variety of skilled repair and maintenance tasks on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC equipment and monitoring instruments. In addition, the incumbent performs specialized maintenance and repair work on multiple hearth sewage sludge inciner
- ators and associated ancillary systems including but not limited to burners, motors, pumps, conveyors, electric, hydraulic and pneu
- matic systems, wet scrubbers, valves and control instrumentation.
The work is performed under the supervision of the Chief of Maintenance. Does related work as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Five (5) years of mechanical experience at a wastewater treatment plant or similar industrial facility with a minimum of two (2) years of maintenance experience with multiple hearth incinerators or similar systems. Please submit a resume with this application
