Control Equipment Technician Staffmark Group $22.00-$26.00 United States, South Carolina, Union Jun 19, 2025 Are you a hands-on problem solver with a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems? Join our client’s team as a Control Equipment Technician and play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Reporting to the Engineering Services Manager, you’ll provide preventive maintenance and fast, high-quality service to our reputable client’s equipment while working with cutting-edge systems and tools.
Pay Rate:
$22 – $26/hr. (Depending on experience)
Schedule:
12-hour rotating schedule, 8AM/PM – 8
PM/AM Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems
Perform preventive maintenance and keep detailed documentation
Support production and quality teams in solving technical challenges
Assist in equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvements
Maintain spare parts inventory and work order systems
Train and collaborate with other team members
Qualifications:
1-3 years of mechanical and electrical maintenance experience
Knowledge of safety procedures, PPE use, and 70E standards
Strong skills in troubleshooting, with experience in PC hardware and Microsoft Office
Understanding of AC/DC drives, motors, control equipment, and relay logic
Background in mechanical systems like pneumatics, hydraulics, and combustion systems
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate motorized equipment (fork trucks, tuggers, etc.)
