Duties/Responsibilities Train new graduate student on using cross-flow turbine test bed, including install, un-install, data acquisition, repeatability of experiments, etc. Conduct cross-flow turbine experiments for UIUC project, NEW
BLADE MATERIALS FOR MARINE ENERGY CONVERTERS OPERATING IN HIGHLY TURBULENT
CURRENTS, in accordance to statement of work and in coordination with project partners UIUC and ATSP Innovations. Assist with installation of turbulence-generating grids and devices, and flow measurements. Train new graduate student on conducting data analysis for cross-flow turbines, including data structures, processing performance and load measurement data, uncertainty analysis.
