2 Manage the project design group to ensure that the design is in accordance with project and Company technical requirements, schedule and budgets
Assess the engineering resources required and liaise with the functional heads to agree the allocation of appropriate resources. Ensure that the project schedule is developed in accordance with corporate standards and good engineering practice
Confirm that the engineering scope is well defined and is aligned with the budgets created
Ensure that the engineering deliverables are produced timeously and in accordance with corporate quality requirements
Ensure that the key personnel in the project design team have been inducted and have a thorough understanding of: Minimum qualifications, skills and experience Applicable B Degree or equivalent with Project Management and Financial Management as majors
Preference will be given to candidates professionally registered with PMI or SACPCMP
Valid SA driver?s license
Computer literate in MS office and MS Project are essential
Effective report writing and presentation skills are essential
Effective team leadership skills
Must be able to network with relevant stakeholders
