Responsibilities Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system. Develop or direct software system testing or validation procedures, programming, or documentation. Design and implement complex requirements to accomplish business goals and strategies by handling platform development initiatives from idea creation through deployment. Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Ensure solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Participate in identifying customer needs, design solutioning, and estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle. Design and implement data frameworks, algorithms, and controls in the financial risk management systems. Design and implement database solutions using Unix Shell Scripting, Oracle PL and SQL for data transfer and migration. Design, implement, and maintain ETL process for integrating data from multiple systems while ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and quality leveraging ETL tools including TALEND and DataStage. Generate data analytics and reports to support business decisions using various tools and data sources including UNIX, PL, and SQL. Use data modelling techniques and normalization techniques to design data models using RDBMS tools including Power designer, Visio, and Erwin. Assess and maintain data quality using Oracle PL and SQL, data warehousing and modelling concepts, ETL, and BI reporting. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related: and 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
