Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a TS/SCI Engineering Director to join a Fortune 1000 manufacturing and engineering innovator that provides safe and effective nuclear solutions for global security, clean energy, environmental restoration, nuclear medicine and space exploration.
This individual will be joining their Nuclear Fuel team of 300 individuals onsite in Erwin, TN. They will be responsible for the overall leadership and general management of the Engineering and Project Management groups.
Additional duties include:
Administration and implementation of the Company’s Capital Program. This includes preparation of budget plan, review, approval, and rmendation of all capital expenditure.
Review and control project expenditures.
Review and approve facility expense expenditures.
Direct engineering effort for on and offsite dmissioning, process production endeavors, facility improvements/repairs, and New Business Programs. This includes planning, cost estimates, schedules, designs, installation and start-up operation support.
Direct engineering support to New Business Group for proposals, quotations, and awarded contracts.
Direct and guide engineering sections and CAD group to maintain effective utilization of personnel and equipment.
Direct the services on contracted architects, engineers, and construction firms.
Member of Safety and Safeguards Review Committee responsible for reviewing and approving all facility operations and some off-site operations.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience in a Director level position overseeing high-level engineering initiatives
Strong background in the nuclear industry
TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain a DOE/NRC clearance
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Current DOE/NRC clearance
Compensation:
The salary ranges from $225,000 – $325,000 (including annual bonus) and is inclusive of health, dental, and vision benefits as well as 401(k) plan.
