Mechanical Technician Salary:
Up to £18.00 per hour
Location:
Near Uxbridge Hours:
Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm, Friday 8am to 12pm

We’re seeking a Mechanical Technician to support the final build of safety-critical aerospace components in a clean, well-organised environment. What’s in it for you? Hourly rate up to £18.00 depending on experience Overtime available at 1.5x standard rate 25 days holiday + bank holidays Free on-site parking Structured onboarding and full training Stable, long-term opportunity with a globally recognised manufacturer Mechanical Technician duties: Building mechanical sub-assemblies such as seat pans, guide rails, and survival kits to spec Working from detailed engineering drawings and build instructions Conducting self-inspection and stage certification of completed work Using SAP to log parts, track jobs, and update work progress Handling tools, gauges, and components with precision and care Supporting lean initiatives and maintaining a clean, safe working area
Mechanical Technician Profile:
Previous mechanical assembly or technician experience in a manufacturing setting Competent using basic hand tools and torque equipment Able to read and interpret technical drawings Comfortable using computers – SAP or Excel knowledge is a plus Strong attention to detail and a methodical work ethic Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in core subjects Click “Apply Now” to be considered.
