Job Description

SUMMARY Join a collaborative and innovation-driven engineering team where you’ll contribute to meaningful projects that blend hands-on technical work with leadership in execution. This role is ideal for someone passionate about both the design and delivery of high-quality engineered products. As a Project Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in aligning design, production, and process improvements to ensure timely, cost-effective, and safe project completion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the design, development, and execution of engineering initiatives. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet technical specifications, budget targets, and scheduling needs. Provide engineering expertise to resolve production and manufacturing challenges. Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality metrics, and best engineering practices. Assist in project planning and workflow coordination to meet deadlines and client expectations. Participate in testing and validation activities for new designs and process improvements. Train and support team members on technical procedures and project responsibilities. Identify project risks and communicate delays or changes to leadership in a timely manner. Contribute to Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement programs. Maintain active communication with the engineering leadership and relevant departments to ensure project alignment. Demonstrate professionalism and technical competency in daily operations. Handle additional tasks to support engineering and production goals as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS 2-4

years of engineering or manufacturing experience required. Proven track record supporting technical projects from concept to completion. Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals, production techniques, and quality assurance. Strong analytical and communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation. Skilled in CAD programs, project tracking software, and Microsoft Office tools. Comfortable performing hands-on work and lifting up to 50 pounds when needed. Experience working within a stamping manufacturing setting is preferred. Adaptability to a manufacturing floor environment with exposure to machinery and varying conditions. Willingness to work flexible hours including extended shifts or weekends as needed. Limited travel may be involved for training or collaboration with other facilities.
