Job Description
Production Technician Ambassador Personnel, Inc. Bainbridge, GA 39817 Production Technician Needed!
Position Objective:
To maintain all mechanical parts of the assigned machines in a safe operating condition at the least possible cost with the least amount of downtime, including lubricating equipment as scheduled; to maintain processing conditions to ensure all units operate at maximum quality and quantity; to operate assigned machines, as required.
Minimum Requirements:
HS diploma or equivalent + 3+ yrs in manufacturing maintenance. Push pallet jack (up to 1,150 lbs). Climb ladders; work overhead during 8-hr shifts. Stand, walk, bend, squat, lift (up to 80 lbs), reach, with minimal supervision. Operate machinery (training provided). Safe lift truck operation in pedestrian zones. Repeated sit/stand; climb on/off lift truck. Read/write daily reports. Work in non-temp-controlled warehouses. Speak/understand English; follow simple instructions. Pass job-related assessment. Must have strong communication, organization, and industrial mechanic experience.
Key Duties:
Maintain & operate equipment (e.g., Bracket, Prong, Creaser). Run machines, troubleshoot issues, perform setups/changeovers. Lubricate, clean, assist with installs & preventive maintenance. Complete logs/reports; follow manager priorities. Support production efficiency & safety. Work holidays/weekends/overtime as needed.
Other Duties:
Help coworkers; follow all supervisor-assigned tasks.
Training:
Orientation + CPR, First Aid, Safety, Lift/Pallet certs.
Tools:
Company provides essentials; extras at employee cost.
Safety:
Keep area clean/safe, report hazards & injuries. Wear PPE; safety toe shoes suggested. Background check & drug test required. Ambassador is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
