The Test Technician will be responsible forperforming routine and varied tasks to ensure that productionstandards are met. Sets up, calibrates, tests and troubleshootsproduction assemblies. Projects may range from simple to complex.
Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of production assembliesand units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.
Adjusts and calibrate systems as needed. Modifies equipment byadding, removing, or altering components as defined bypredetermined diagrams. Corrects malfunctions by adjusting orreplacing parts or components as directed. Use various measuringand testing devices in performing job duties. May monitor andverify quality in accordance with statistical process or othercontrol procedures. Test electronic and acoustic units usingstandard and custom test equipment. Analyze results to evaluateperformance and determine the need for adjustment. Follows complextest specifications, test procedures and verbal instructions toperform a variety of routine standard tests. Ability to read andinterpret mechanical drawings diagrams, hardware specifications,schematics, or written work instructions. Working knowledge ofelectronic theory and components Ability to troubleshoot andanalyze failures using electronic test equipment and software.
Diagnoses minor deficiencies in equipment and recommends reworkwhere necessary.
Compensation Range:
$28.07-$33.70/hour Thecompensation range provided is a general guideline. Skills andExperience:
Required Education, Experience, and 5 years’ workexperience or equivalent experience. Experience in microelectronicsand RF testing Prior test experience Prior DoD/AUV TestingExperience Must work well with a team Experience in using
ExcelDesired Skills and Experience:
Experience operating and integratinga variety of electronic test gear, including oscilloscopes, powermeters, waveform generators, etc., in acoustic test applicationsFamiliarity with LabVIEW Familiarity with testing messagingmiddleware Familiarity with JIRA. Familiarity with Autonomous &Undersea Systems Capability to generate and review suggestedimprovements to integration and test process/work instructions.
Preferred Secret Clearance Citizenship Requirements:
Must be a U.S.citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protectedindividual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
