Manufacturing Technician Position Type:

Full time Contract

Location:

Ashaway, RI (Onsite) As a Manufacturing Technician you will be responsible for

• Performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Using sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
• Determine and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
• Work with engineers in conducting experiments.

Mechanical Assembly Skills:

Proficiency in building complex mechanical assemblies.(electrical and optical assemblies, components, and harnesses)
Ideal Candidate will have

• High School Diploma and 1-3 Years experience
• Proficiency in building complex mechanical assemblies.(electrical and optical assemblies, components, and harnesses)
• Adept at programming assemblies using relevant software.
• Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Windows and Office.
• Read and interpret engineering work instructions, drawings, or schematics to effectively perform job duties.

Preferred Skill:

• Currently or previously

IPC J-STD-001

solder certified.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
