Job Description:

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a TestEngineer.

Location:

Plymouth, MN As a Test Engineer, you will:

Prepare testplans, coordinate with test facilities, provide test executionoversight, analyze test data and prepare final test reports.

Resolve test related technical issues and support failure andanalysis activities. Develop test methods for climatic, vibrationand mechanical shock, electromagnetic effects, bench testing ofelectronic devices, and safety and reliability testing. Developdata analysis methods including data compilation and correlation,markings, preparation of data summaries, and data archiving.

Scheduling and cost management Define test instrumentationrequirements. Support Systems engineering in review and developmentof storage and operational life cycle requirements. Support allaspects of testing, evaluation and validation of complete systemand or subsystems. Support major program reviews such as SRR, SDR,SFR, PDR, CDR, SVR and other formal program reviews. With propertraining, be in the presence of and handle hazardous devices.

Travel (up to 50%)

Required Skills:

Working knowledge in one of thefollowing languages: MATLAB or Python. Demonstrated problem solvingand troubleshooting skills. Use basic manual tools.

ClearanceRequire:

Active Secret Clearance Preferred Experience:

Experiencewith climatic, vibration, mechanical shock, Electromagnetic Effects(EME), and Insensitive Munitions (IM) Testing. Understanding ofenergetic testing, components and materials. Understanding ofMIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-331, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, MIL-S-901,MIL-STD-2105, JOTP-052 and

JOTP-053

standards and guidelines.

Familiarity of commercial and government test facilities forenvironmental and EME test activities.

Education:

Bachelor’s degreein a STEM discipline with 5 years of experience, a Master’s degreein a STEM discipline or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 0 years ofexperience. Qualified candidates should

Pay Range•: Between $60 to $70 per hour•Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based onseveral factors, including the candidate’s education, workexperience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,etc.
