ROLE AND POSITIONOBJECTIVES

As a mechanical analysis engineer for Undersea MissionSystems, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsiblefor the design and analysis of critical undersea hardware. Weencourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills orexperiences: Experience with ANSYS and MATLAB analysis tools, andability to train others on these tools Experience with Shock GradeB by analysis Strong knowledge of material specifications andmetallurgy, especially as they relate to submarine requirementsKnowledge of weld types (MIL-STD-22) and processes (TP-1688 and278) What sets you apart: Strong proficiency with modeling CADtools, especially Creo, to create mechanical models and drawingsExtensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, aswell as technical, government, and industry standardsCollaborative, creative thinker with experience leading complexprojects Strong communication skills with ability to writetechnical papers and proposals Commitment to ongoing professionaldevelopment for yourself and others 3rd party and subcontractstaffing agencies are not eligible for partnership on thisposition. 3rd party subcontractors need not apply.
