JobResponsibilities:
- Drive quality and efficiency within theMechanical Engineering team by setting an outstanding example interms of high-quality design and analysis with your individualwork.
- Perform and guide CAD design, engineering computersimulations, and mechanical engineering related lab experiment insupport of design validation and reliability goals.
- Bring astrong technical expertise during design reviews andproblem-solving activities.
- Deploy state of the art mechanicalengineering development practices (such as rapid prototyping,tolerance stack analysis, FEA simulation, etc.)
- Work with globalmechanical discipline to facilitate implementation and improvementof best practices and tools to improve team efficiency,effectiveness, and mechanical subsystem quality.
- Use outstandingcommunication and interpersonal skills to lead and create efficientinterfaces with third party engineering partners.
- Ensure smoothand efficient transfer of new design and updates to the supplychain team
- Work package leader for mechanical elements of NPIdevelopments
- Coach and mentor the local mechanical engineeringteam.
Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree in MechanicalEngineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in various Mechanicalengineering R D roles within an industrial environment isrequired. Knowledge of marking and coding equipment is a plus butnot required.
- Experience designing industrial products fromconcept through production is required.
- Experience in CAD design(Creo/Windchill preferred), FEA andthermal/pneumatics/electro-mechanical testing is desired.
- Minimumof 5 years’ experience performing engineering team leadershipwithin an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Proven experienceworking in cross-functional and cross-border environments.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability todefine a path to solve complex problems, share that vision, andsupport the team for execution.
- Innovative, autonomous and ableto motivates others.
