LAND SURVEYING
Will work in one or two man survey crew, perform in office research and document preparation using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Great opportunity for advancement.
Wage:
$28•32 per hour (negotiable for a Licensed Land Surveyor) Full time position: 40 hours per week with occasional overtime
FLSA:
Non-Exempt Working Hours Monday-Thursday 7:00 am•5:00 pm Occasional Friday on an as needed basis Mostly in town work with rare overnight travel. Reports to Head Land Surveyor. Responsibilities Conduct land surveys using GPS and advanced surveying techniques to gather accurate data. Prepare and analyze schematics and ALTA surveys for construction projects. Utilize Civil 3D for data visualization and project planning. Collaborate with engineering team to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations. Oversee field crews, ensuring safety protocols are followed and project timelines are met. Perform quality control checks on survey data and deliverables. Qualifications Proficient in GPS and land surveying techniques. Strong understanding of schematics and construction principles Experience with ALTA surveys and data collection Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, will train if required. Ability to apply trigonometry and geometry in surveying tasks Experience with Topcon Surveying Equipment, will train if required. Proficient math skills to allow in field calculations. Able to perform physical labor required in outdoor land surveying and construction staking. A valid Drivers License.
